At KM Herbals, We Make Every Product Fresh to Order
This means that only when we receive your order, via phone, email, or the web, does the process officially begin! Only then are the freshest of ingredients hand-crafted into our premiere formulations with care, and sent straight to you...without spending time on a shelf.
Known for its immune-enhancing properties, Echinacea (E. purpurea, angustifolia, pallida), has a rich history of use by Native American and indigenous groups to address external injuries.
Since then, modern science has demonstrated the plant extract's cleansing, purifying, and rejuvenating properties. Chemical constituents of echinacea have been shown to improve hydration and to protect skin from environmental damage.
Our Lavandin Cleansing Milk works wonders on young, oily or congested skin to not only sooth blemishes but heal and improve the look of scars from past breakouts. This cleanser leaves skin refreshed and protected, and its classic calming aroma is a therapy in itself.
Anti-Acne Facial Serum helps purify and balance troubled skin with a gentle, non-sticky, and lightweight formula that can be used as a spot treatment, or as part of an all-over preventative facial regimen.
The summer season is warming up, and as the weather changes, so does our skin, making it a valuable time to stop and re-assess our current regimen. Oily skin and those in more humid climates can greatly benefit from light weight moisturizing products during this time of year, especially when skin is prone to congestion and irritation.
This makes products with a more gentle texture much better for accommodating such seasonal skincare needs.
KM Herbals is happy to announce...
Dew Drops, (recently featured on SkinInc.com), an all new hydrating serum designed to moisturize and protect skin while providing a gentle matte finish. Based in Aloe Vera Gel and Bulgarian Rose Hydrosol, we’ve enriched this formula with Sea Buckthorn, Chia Seed Oil, and the soothing floral extracts of Chamomile and Calendula for a calming and nutritive summer skincare companion.
Beat the heat this month with our protective and nourishing sun formulas!
Hydrosols are created when plant materials - such as roots, barks, flowers, leaves, stems, and seeds - are steam distilled to obtain an essential oil. The distillation process yields another separate water portion of the water soluble compounds of the plant. This water extraction is called a "hydrosol" and these can be used for multiple aromatherapy and skincare applications. They have many of the same healing properties as the plant's essential oil, but are very gentle and easy to apply.
Hydrosols are often used in skin care recipes as bases for lotions, masks, and facial treatments. As toners, hydrosols can be cleansing, hydrating, and help minimize the appearance of large pores. They also help to balance pH and sebum production, making them useful for both dry and oily skin.

Also in our first aid kit are our KM Herbals Cold Thyme products, some favorite go-to formulas when we're feeling under the weather. First, try the Cold Thyme Sinus Oil, a stimulating herbal oil blend infused with Rosemary Verbenone and Thyme essential oils. Our Cold Thyme Chest Balm, made with Peppermint and Lungwort, will also help soothe your symptoms by supporting the respiratory system and calming your cough.
Wintertime is upon us, and as cooler temperatures set into our bodies, 'tis the season for achy muscles, stiff joints, and sore feet. Whether spending more time standing in line for holiday savings, working long retail hours, or simply enjoying outdoor winter recreation, this season can be particularly hard on our bodies. That's why it is a great time of year to give yourself a little extra care, starting with your body's hardest working support – your feet.
You can take your foot massage one step further by paying attention to reflexology pressure points while massaging your feet. Reflexology is the practice of applying pressure or stroking specific areas of the feet and hands to stimulate the proper functioning of individual organs and body systems. These therapies existed in ancient Chinese and Egyptian civilizations, but the practice wasn't introduced to the United States until 1913 by ear, nose, and throat specialist William F. Fitzgerald. Since then, reflexology has shown very promising results within the medical community and is often a favorite healing tool for massage therapists and other body workers.
